Observation notes: This moth spent quite a while working over my phlox, which had just come into full bloom. It has been warm and dry for weeks. The garden also has Jewelweed (Impatiens) and honeysuckle (Lonicera), various coneflowers, Monarda, Liatris and Joe-Pye Weed.
