Observation notes: Near trailhead, a "spittin' image" of the Cercyonis our WBA group found at Hog Lake during the 2012 annual conference in this area. Dark background like pegala, but larger apical eyespot. Tom Rogers listed C sthnele for this area in 1970's, but vouchers were apparently not provided for Hinchliff's Atlas, so the county record was never entered.
