Observation notes: Riparian area in nature reserve. Near the Mokelumne River (mere meters). Dry, grassy patch. Very active and hard to photograph.

Coordinator notes: I don't think Plebejus lupini is on the Valley floor in San Joaquin County and if it were, the flight is long over. I lived and collected in Stockton for 4 years (1965-69)- Ken Davenport, Stagg High School graduate 1966.
