  Sighting 1089638

Observation date: July 14, 2016
Submitted by: Bdog
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Two of these had a territory in a meadow right on the edge of wooded area. Different behavior than the Satyr Comma I am familiar with: not keeping to sun flecks but stayed in full sun the entire time. Often chased each other high then broke up only to return to their same territories. No Nettle nearby but much Ribes. It was hard to get a clear photo of the ventral side
