Observation notes: Sunny weather, about 72 degrees, altitude about 8,000ft, Aspen trees present as well as lupine flowers and birdsfoot trefoil.

Coordinator notes: Weidemeyer's Admiral is similar in appears to the White Admiral which occurs more northward from Colorado (primarily in Canada). It is common in the Canadian Zone forests of the upper Midwest in the U.S. - especially in central and northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan) and southern eastern Canada.
