Coordinator notes: Not revealing an exact locality is really not necessary with this common species that is transient in occurrence. These are not permanent breeding populations in southern California, nor is this really a rare species. It is an unusual site in many localities, I took one at over 11,000' in the White Mts. E of Bishop and several sightings in that range the past 2 years.-Ken Davenport
