Observation notes: This butterfly was spotted flying along the edge of some woods on a very warm, sunny afternoon. It was very active, but not feeding. It was observed flying about high into the shaded tree canopy (9m - 12m), resting briefly, and would then fly back down towards and about the vegetation near the ground, sometimes resting briefly. It repeated this process three times in about 25 minutes, staying withing a 30m x 20m x 12m space on the edge of the wood. No other members of this species were observed.
