Observation notes: The weather was very beautiful; the temp was about 80 degrees and few clouds in the sky. My backyard is adjacent to a power line easement, so I assume it came from the field below the power lines. I was clearing out some undergrowth near the fence on my property which also includes some azaleas, pine trees and some oak saplings. When I saw the moth it was on the grass as pictured.
