Coordinator notes: There are some very interesting butterflies off the Oak Creek and Willow Springs Rds. near Mojave including a black Behr's Metalmark, Juniper Hairstreaks, Behr's Hairstreaks, Yucca Giant Skippers, Pale Blues (Euphilotes pallescens) and Mojave Blue (Euphilotes mojave) and Desert Orange-tips and Marbles. Too late for those until late summer for pallescens and the metalmarks fly again in October. Early April tends to be best.-Ken
