Observation notes: Sunny day. Caterpillar was on a concrete bench at the top of a ridge. Since I have never submitted a sighting like this, I didn't know that I should also identify nearby foliage. Next time I'll know! I am submitting this because apparently there have been no reported sightings of this insect in West Virginia.
