Observation notes: Seventeen species this day, this anise was well guarded. on road side the anise had been cut back so now there was fresh growth. there were about 50 larva different sizes. adults anise, monarch, queen, painted lady, west coast lady. sister, l. admiral gray hairstreaks. duskys, buckeye, behr;s hairstreak, fetal metalmark, Pygmy blue, common ringlet, umber skipper, several other skippers, white checkered skipper, clear hot sunny day.
