Observation notes: I found this dead butterfly on a road in Bakersfield while doing a half marathon. I don't know if you accept records for dead butterflies or not.

Coordinator notes: Since I was on Alfred Harrell Hwy. in Bakersfield X2 today and KNOW they are here in Bakersfield as I am right now, I will accept the record. People send me collected specimens and I have even found great records in spider webs!
