Observation notes: Habitat: brush-lined permanent ditch adjacent to marshy impoundments/ponds, scattered trees. Conditions: warm, mostly sunny, some light breeze. Many (10?) of this species seen along the gravel road on this afternoon. Usually nectaring on Hempvine (Mikania), as shown in photo, or on Boneset.
