Observation notes: Habitat: weedy border of permanent ditch beside gravel road; brush, scattered trees, marshy impoundments/ponds nearby. Nectaring on Boneset. Accidentally photographed, taking pic of flower. Noticed in photo after the fact. At least one other of this moth photoed under same circumstance that afternoon on Boneset w/ Common Buckeye. Conditions: warm, mostly sunny, some breeze.
