Observation notes: Habitat: levee along weedy shallow impoundment (impoundment dry at time of observation), adjacent to brush-lined permanent ditch. Observed nectaring on Hairy Clustervine (Jacquemontia tamnifolia). Afternoon. Conditions: warm, cloudy, breezy. Several of this species seen during one mile / 5 hours walk along Minnow Ponds Rd and nearby levees that afternoon.
