Observation notes: Found in Jonesbor, Arkansas, we were having a mild late-August climate (Temps in 80's). Initially the caterpillar was white and was found on the underside of a heart-shaped leaf from a wild vine that was overtaking my landscaping. After a day or two in the jar, fed leaves from a house plant, it turned an orange color. It had a very healthy appetite. After about 10 days it made its cocoon and another 10 days later we had a white moth!
