Observation notes: We left town for 4 days leaving the kitchen window open several inches. Noticed the moth on our kitchen cupboard near the ceiling shortly upon our return. It was about 4 inches wide, made no movements but flew when we released it outside. There were cobwebs in the ceiling corner and I believe that is the white matter hanging from the moth. Seattle had had temperatures above normal since June.
