Observation notes: Sighting before midnight at 23:29 hrs. P.D.T. in flight through open door, flight pattern initially thought to be a hummingbird, when the light went out: it flew very fast out the door. Wingspan estimated to be between three, and three-and-a-half inches. At time of image capture, barometric pressure was below average. Temperature, outdoors, was 65.5 de. Fahr.; outdoor humidity was 41%; dewpoint was 41.2 de. Fahr.; wind was calm. Location: GRASS VALLEY, CA, NEVADA COUNTY, latitude north 39.2153993, and west -121.0550773.
