Observation notes: Dozens of these were flying around in the park. This worn individual was resting in the shade, sheltered from the wind, at the edge of a wood by the east beach. The day was hot and humid with a strong westerly wind. The butterflies that were nectaring seemed to prefer wild bergamot.
