Observation notes: Observed in weedy meadow directly south of Catahoula Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden in Kisatchie National Forest. Nectaring on flower shown in photo. Habitat: weedy/grassy open area w/ wildflwers adjacent to mature pine forest and a garden w/ pond and diverse native and exotic flowers. Conditions: warm, sunny, not much wind. Mid-morning.
