Coordinator notes: American Dagger Moth caterpillar. One of the more common sightings submitted from residential areas, especially Denver. They feed on a variety of trees (Maple especially). Had these every August-Sept. at my former home in Centennial. You can google the name and see what the adult moth looks like. Mike
