Observation notes: Observed while birding Peveto Woods Sanctuary in Cameron Parish. Habitat: Live Oak wooded chenier just back from the beach with some dense thicket/undergrowth, adjacent pasture and marsh. Conditions: warm, mostly sunny, not much wind. Approx. time: mid-morning. This small moth flew across the path between me and my friend with whom I was birding. I made sure to get a couple of decent photographs for later identification (was difficult to get a clear image because of foliage, lighting, etc.).
