Observation notes: Flightless females climbing trees. Brown males swarming.(no photo) Hundreds of males which I noticed first. Brown soft egg case. Eggs visible in the patches laid. Pine and oak woods around the Turner Reservoir in Seekonk, MA and East Providence, RI. Forest behind the Seekonk High School. I've been walking in these woods for over 25 years and this is the first time I have seen this.
