Observation notes: Habitat: fringes of deciduous/mixed woods in residential area. Conditions: hot, sunny, light breeze. Early afternoon. The butterfly was observed flying from plant to plant, apparently laying eggs (Sensitive Plant, as in photo, was a popular plant for it to land on). Also nectaring some on small white flowers (? sp.). Also seen around this time was what I believe was a more yellow individual of this species of butterfly (also photographed, but poorer quality image).
