The Saw Wing
Euchlaena serrata

Observation date: June 28, 2015
Submitted by: edenny
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I am amazed that moths can fly in the rain--why don't they get pelted down? This one is wet but the colors and structure are pretty clear. About 2.5 inches wingspan, yellow with wide brown bands across the top and bottom, speckled subtly all over with tan dots, sawtooth edge on underwings
