Observation date: June 28, 2015

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This one was really beat up, and I was hopeful that he was a Satyr Comma because his coloring was so light, but the marking on his outer wing that would have confirmed him as a comma was that of a Question Mark. The weather conditions were quite cloudy - looked like it was getting ready to rain, about 75 degrees F. Behaviorally, the butterfly was very content on the milkweed flowers and didn't seem to mind me getting close enough to take a picture.
