Observation notes: Bright, hot, humid late afternoo. Butterfly was on a Indian blanket flower in the sun. Area was small enclosed on 3 sides yard. It spooked when I approached and flew off but returned shortly and flew for a minute or so and then landed again. I was able to get several flight photos and then later as it sat. It didn't linger long and left.
