Date notes: It was overcast in Patterson Louisiana and was about to rain. Clouds were black in the sky, species was found under a porch in a corner on the ceiling.

Observation notes: Very large body, very dark and fuzzy head. Weather was storming. Wings had spots. I don't know if this is a butterfly or moth?
