Coordinator notes: The Hickory hairstreak (Satyrium caryaevorus) is similar to the Banded hairstreak (S. calanus falacer) but on the Hickory hairstreak, the blue mark on the hind wing anal angle extends well beyond the end of the orange mark. On the Banded hairstreak, these two marks are the same size.
