Observation notes: This butterfly or moth flies in circles above people. They will land and stay on you sometimes up to full minute. One landed on my hand this evening and just let me study it. It sat quite still on the table while I was trying to take a photo with my phone. I've been noticing them the past few years in our backyard. They seem very playful. One lit on my Maltese dog's nose a couple of times. The weather was in the upper maybe a bit over 90 degrees. Not sure.
