Observation notes: he was found under a rock in our front yard, my daughter put him in her bug jar with some leaves from our plants until we can identify him.

Coordinator notes: There are several species in the genus Virbia in Missouri and I don’t have images to the caterpillars for most of them. This is my best guess. Try feeding it dandelion, plantain and other forbs that might be growing near the place that you found it.
