Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Visited moist garden soil while I worked; very "friendly" - could put my nose right up to it and reluctant to flush. The bronzy colorations were very apparent. No white dots at all. Not sure on spp. but there are no oaks in Mono Co, Ceanothus although not common directly nearby, is in the region, Lupins (if Persius) are common locally

Coordinator notes: Erynnis persius, icelus and propertius are all in Mono County. I personally have collected propertius from the Swall Meadow area and near Glass Mountain.-Ken Davenport Pacuvius tends to have lots of white scaling over black.
