Observation notes: Butterfly was landing and drinking moisture from wet mulch in organic pollinator garden of suburban home near county open spaces. Plants in garden include several milkweed varieties, salvia, mint sage, and yellow daisies. Sunny day with temperatures in the low 70's F. Butterfly opened its wings while drinking. I think this is a different individual from the sighting on April 3 due to the extensive wing damage.
