Observation notes: Many of this same type of day flying moth were feeding at Escallonia flowers in pesticide free backyard of suburban home near county open spaces. Honeybees and Sphinx moths were also feeding at the Escallonia flowers and butterflies were earlier in the day. Clear evening. Temperatures in high 70's F.
