Observation notes: These butterflies are laying eggs on three bushes in a mini mall area. We have watched the caterpillars and the larval containers on these bushes, now we are seeing the butterflies. The caterpillars were dark, with bands or spots of orange or yellow. The weather now is sunny and warm, with cool nights.
