Coordinator notes: These are also out in the Coast Ranges (Dry Canyon Feb. 18th, 2015, Santa Barbara County, CA) and Sierra Nevada, maybe the most common butterfly out there in some favored habitats, flying with Milbert's Tortoiseshell in one rocky canyon wall and ravine at 4300' in Dry Creek Canyon (Sherman Pass Rd. E Kern River) at 4300'), Tulare County February 19th, 2015-Ken Davenport
