Observation notes: Hundreds of Painted Ladies concentrated along a 1.5-mile long section of trail adjacent to Pipes Canyon Creek. Chasing each other, feeding, and landing on dirt and mud. Much more widespread out in the Wildlife Preserve away from the creek.
