According to Pogue and Harp from the Journal of the Lepidopterists' Society 57(3),2003, 197-203, "Schinia regia is found restricted to southern and eastern Texas...Schinia regina is more widely distributed from southern Texas north through the panhandle, Oklahoma, Kansas, northwestern Nebraska, and west to southern New Mexico and Colorado east of the continental divide."
