Observation notes: on orchid plant on porch, our temp gauge in full sun on porch said 108. in car it said 62 these are in the yard year round. also saw gulf fritillary, sunny with 1.39 inches of rain on new years eve dry clear day, ground very moist. snow below 2,000 ft in foothills. just inland. no frost here at beach we have had lows in the high 30's lots of nectar in yard. the umber loves the status flowers for nectar!
