Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The Moth was motionless when I found it. The weather was approx 90 degrees when I found it perched next to my door. It didn't move an inch when I opened the screen door (very noisy and close to the Moth) nor did it react when I opened the front door and walked past it. I was able to crack the screen door and take this shot without any movement or wing movement. When I left it was still there unmoved and after repeating the process with the doors it stayed perfectly still (approx 2:00pm.) When I returned home at 11:00pm the Moth was nowhere to be found.
