Observation notes: We saw this moth on our screen this evening. We live in Baldwinsville, NY, a small town near Syracuse, NY. The tempeture outside is about 65 F.

Coordinator notes: This is a Catocala cerogama-Yellow-banded Underwing. Usually it is nearly impossible to determine species by just the underside, but this one is unique. SG.
