Observation notes: Slightly overcast day, on a hike in the Sandia Mountains, sat down to eat some trail mix, butterfly flew down and sat on my hand for several minutes, lots of oak in the area,

Coordinator notes: this is an Arizona Sister. We used to call them California Sisters up until about 5 years ago, but taxonomists recently determined that the AZ/NM species was different from the CA species. thanks for sharing this excellent photo!
