Observation notes: Attracted to mercury vapor lamp on sheet near woods at edge of our yard. This moth was very flighty, bigger than my usual finds, often flying into the bulb or resting just beneath the clamp-on reflector holding the bulb. I got this shot on one of its rare trips to the ground. I don't think it ever got on the sheet itself. Warm night, little wind, half moon partly obscured by clouds, no rain.
