Observation notes: It was sunny. I was patiently taking photographs of Slender Tube Skyrocket wildflowers along the roadside of the Grand Canyon Highway, inside the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. This hummingbird-like butterfly fluttered into my view. I had been trying to click a photo all day of one of these fascinating winged creatues, and this time it came to me.
